About the event

Introduction

After the great success of last year's return, Aberdeen Asset Management and EventScotland are proud to announce the continuance of the Ladies Scottish Open. The Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open is set to be one of the most exciting ladies golf events this year.

The chosen course, The Carrick at Loch Lomond is named after the award winning Canadian golf architect Douglas Carrick. This De Vere course is a traditional Scottish heathland course in design, using long grasses, gorse, heather, deep bunkers and water features amidst the undulating landscape. The 18 hole par 71 course straddles the Highland Boundary Fault line - the front 9 holes are played in the Lowlands and the back 9 holes in the Highlands.

The player field will be 114 players, playing in a 54 hole championship spread over three days, each day playing in a 3 ball. The prize fund currently stands at €200,000.
